How we assess
The Connect Paediatric team will conduct an integrated assessment because we know that working together is better.
We tailor a specific assessment based on your child's needs with experts from specialist fields below.

Speech and language therapists provide life-changing treatment, support and care for children who have difficulties with communication, eating, drinking and swallowing. They work with children to enhance these capabilities and provide the best means for communication in life.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Occupational therapists help with barriers that affect a person's emotional, social, and physical needs. To do this, they use everyday activities, exercises, and other therapies. OT helps kids play, improves their school performance, and aids their daily activities.
CHILD PSYCHOLOGY
Child psychologists assess and treat children and adolescents. They help children cope with stresses like divorce, death, and family or school transitions. Their clientele may include children with a variety of developmental issues, from learning disabilities to severe mental illness.

NUTRITION
Paediatric Nutritionists help babies, children and teenagers to eat and drink well. They support children and their families where nutrition and special diets can be part of their treatment, including allergies, fussy eating and disorders.
PHYSIOTHERAPY
Movement allows babies and children to explore their bodies and how they work, as well as their environment and all the things in their world – being able to move easily and successfully is essential for learning and growing. Physiotherapists have expert skills in the assessment, identification and diagnosis of, and treatment of child development and movement difficulties.
